The lineup includes legendary bands Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO), UB40, Chilliwack, Sweet, and The Box. This exciting show, part of the Summer Concert Series, will be held at The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium on the York University campus, presented by boom 97.3, which features hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Tickets start at an affordable $9.73.
The Bowl at Sobeys Stadium is a spacious open-air venue with a capacity of 9,000 and ample parking for 7,700 vehicles. It is conveniently located near major highways and the York University and Pioneer Village subway stations.

The new Toronto venue will launch its inaugural Summer Concert Series on Thursday, June 27, with a performance by Barenaked Ladies, featuring special guests Sam Roberts Band and KT Tunstall. On June 29, Grammy Award-winning reggae and dancehall icon Shaggy, known for his hit “It Wasn’t Me,” will perform with R&B group 112 opening. On July 6, Big Shiny Saturday will bring together The Tea Party, Headstones, I Mother Earth, Treble Charger, and Bif Naked for an unforgettable evening, celebrating the MuchMusic Big Shiny Tunes 90s-era CD compilations.
