Model Citizen: Anne Lawless

I like to think of myself as a late bloomer. “Living in the now” became the main theme in my life and I felt inspired to open new doors, start living and not just accept my age but embrace it, all the grey, all the laugh lines earned. It is now my goal to inspire other women to feel the same way.
I started thinking that there must be a place for women my age in the Commercial/Print industry. So, with the help of my talented daughter, Jennifer, we sent an application and photos to STRUTT Central. A few weeks later, to my surprise, I received the nicest email from my now agent and Managing Director of STRUTT Central, Fredau Wallace, asking for me to meet with her. I was so excited and shocked, I believe my words during our first discussion were: “Pinch me, is this really happening!?
So, at 58 years old, I signed with STRUTT Central and I am having the time of my life! Each audition brings a new mix of excitement and nervousness. I’ve met the most amazing people in this energized industry. Fall and Winter were exciting and busy months with 4 great jobs I booked through STRUTT Central including Prolia, Amgen, OLG, and Nokia. Looking so forward to all the wonderful future opportunities with STRUTT Central.
